Some things to try if Milford Hospital Online connection does not work

• Shut down computer
• Close all applications, including Milford Hospital Online
• Click Start - Shutdown.
• Leave computer off for Five Full minutes.  

Try Milford Hospital Online connection again.  If connection still does not work, perform shutdown again.  This time, reset cable or DSL modem by turning it off or pulling the power plug from the wall.  If you are using a router, reset router by turning it off or pulling plug from the wall.   Leave equipment off for Five minutes.  Turn equipment back on in this order: First turn on the cable/DSL modem. Second, turn on the router and lastly turn on your computer.

Make https://web.milhosp.org a trusted site

• Open Internet Explorer
• At top menu, Select Tools
• Then select Internet Options 
• Click on the security Tab at the top
• Click on the green check for trusted sites
• Click on SITES in the middle of the page
• Type: https://web.milhosp.org 
• Click add
• Click  Ok
• Click Ok again

Turn off the XP Firewall 

• Click Start
• Click Run
• Type Firewall.cpl and Click OK
• Select the General Tab
• Click Off
• Click Ok

Note: If you get a message that says Windows cannot find "Firewall.cpl" Then you do not have the version of Windows XP that has a firewall.

CONFIGURE XP Firewall to allow Milford Hospital Online connection

• Click Start
• Click Run
• Type wscul.cpl and click Ok
• In the windows security center, clear windows firewall
• Click on the General Tab
• Select Exceptions
• Add the port exception 135
• Click Apply
• Click Ok
• Click Ok again.
